One of the household appliance retail chains in Kiev has installed the first vending machines, where you can buy appliances in the same way as you can buy chocolate bars or water in grocery vending machines.

One of these machines has already been installed in the underpass near one of the metro stations. You can buy headphones, batteries, memory cards, flash drives, card readers, CDs, cameras, and mobile phones there.

In the future, similar machines will be installed and located in high-traffic areas. The list of products sold in the machines was selected based on customer needs. For example, you need a battery, but don't have time to go to the store, but on the way to the subway you can buy it from a vending machine, avoiding standing in line and wasting time. After the first machine was installed, interested people gathered around it, and in the first days of operation, more than 30 people used the machine, which indicates that people are ready to use this new feature to save their time.

If the service becomes popular enough, the project will be launched in other large cities - Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia. The most expensive item in the machine is currently a camera, priced at 560 hryvnias. The machine accepts bills from 1 to 50 hryvnias and operates 24 hours a day.
