The process of creating a website is as follows:
1. Log in to your Google Drive
2. Click the Create button, then select Folder. In the window that appears, give the folder any name you like.
3. Select the created folder, then use the button on the top panel to open the More menu, where we select Share.
4. In the new pop-up window, find the Access Levels section. The default setting here is Personal. Click the Edit link and select the Public on the Internet option.
5. Now you can place all the necessary components for your site in this folder. The main page of your site must be called index.html.
6. Now let's work on the address at which the site you created will be available. You need to find out the unique identifier of the created directory. To do this, select the folder you created again, click the More button and open the sharing settings again. You should see the folder ID in the text box displaying the link to your folder.

Type the following address in the browser address bar

where XXXXXXXX is your ID and voila! Your site's start page opens. Now all that's left to do is use one of the link shorteners and create a short, easy-to-remember and easy-to-type address for your site. Of course, such a solution can hardly compete with professional website hosting solutions. But it can be quite useful for testing simple websites or hosting a homepage. Such a site is very easy to create, edit, and update. The reliability of the Google Drive service is beyond doubt, and the fact that it is completely free may well compensate for some of its shortcomings.
