gpsGTX Corp., a supplier of GPS devices, has received an order from Aetrex Worldwide Inc., a manufacturer of comfortable and healthy footwear, to produce 1,500 GPS devices for the development of the Aetrex Ambulator shoe collection.

gpsGTX Corp., a supplier of GPS devices, has received an order from Aetrex Worldwide Inc., a manufacturer of comfortable and healthy footwear, to produce 1,500 GPS devices for the development of the Aetrex Ambulator shoe collection.


The shoes are designed to help protect people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in which the sufferer has a tendency to wander or get lost. The company plans to release an additional collection in January 2012. GPS footwear will be made available to other countries at the beginning of the first quarter of 2012.

GTX Corp has begun developing and more miniature GPS2 devices for tracking children. The developer plans to present these devices at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will be held in Las Vegas.
