Cheating in gambling will likely soon be virtually impossible, and integrating RFID technology into the gaming process could be a significant step toward achieving this goal.

An RFID reader is installed at the bottom of the table, and a thin RFID tag is embedded in each card. This will allow game organizers to precisely control the entire process.

However, the system is primarily designed to make the telecast as convenient and visual as possible, not so much the poker game itself. Accordingly, to achieve full functionality, a pair of high-resolution cameras will be needed, the image from which will be supplemented by the designations of the cards each player has received. The first prototype of this system was quite expensive: $7,000, so it must be admitted that it will be used primarily in professional rather than amateur games. However, to each his own.
