The Korean Ministry of Unification has selected Clavis Technologies to install an asset tracking system based on RFID technology to monitor the supply of computer equipment purchased by South Korean manufacturers at the Gaoseong Industrial Complex in North Korea.

Korea's Ministry of Unification has selected Clavis Technologies to install an asset tracking system based on RFID technology to monitor the shipment of computer equipment purchased by South Korean manufacturers at the Gaoseong Industrial Complex in North Korea.

The Ministry of Unification (MO) is a branch of the South Korean government responsible for working toward the reunification of South and North Korea and the governance of both under one government.

With the help of the Clavis system, MO officials intend to manage and update data, Confirm the current status of goods when entering and exiting the system and link the information through the process of registering computer data and confirming RFID data in Seoul, as well as physical assets in remote locations Gaeseong.

Following the installation of the new system, the ministry began checking computer systems and important strategic assets to guard against theft and plans to expand to other strategic assets such as machinery, cars, and gas cylinders.

The ministry also plans to expand the installation of the Clavis system by connecting it with the Korea Customs Service and create a tracking system for all government agencies.
