The DS1206 is a miniature BASIC-programmable controller designed primarily for connecting serial devices over IP and controlling applications and devices through a serial port. It comes fully functional with the Serial-Over-IP application pre-installed.
One of the unique features of the DS1206 is its multi-channel serial port. The device has a single DB9M connector and costs as much as a single device port, but includes four independent serial channels. It also provides power to devices or powers itself through the serial port.

Combined with an RJ203 connector and a magnetic coil, the EM1206 takes up only 34.5 x 19 mm of board space. On the other hand, the EM1206 can be used with any suitable connector and magnetic coil.
The EM1206 BASIC includes 100Base/T Ethernet, four serial ports, flash disk, EEPROM, and RTC, and has been carefully designed to meet the typical needs of network control applications.
