ReboundTAG, a UK-based company, has created an innovative solution aimed at preventing theft and loss of baggage at airports using RFID technology.

The Microchip Bag Tag, a permanent RFID tag that allows airlines and airport staff to quickly locate and identify baggage. Each tag contains two microchips, one containing the tag's ID and the other containing 128 bits of free space for use by airlines' and airports' own RFID systems. In addition, it also contains a barcode that airlines can read without RFID. As technology continues to evolve, more airports and airlines are using RFID. The owner's mobile number can also be added to the tag's ID. This allows, after luggage is found, to inform the person about the find by sending him a corresponding SMS.
