To work with the Google Play store, you will need a Google account — a single pass to all the company's services, or an email address.@gmail.com» — A Gmail account is automatically linked to a Google account. If you do not have an account or an email inbox, you can register directly from the Google Play store at the first launch.

1. Open the Google Play app and select "Or create a new account."Enter your first and last name (can be in Russian). The information can be either real or fictitious. After finishing the input, click "Done."

2. At the next step, choose a username that will also serve as your Gmail email address.

  The username can only consist of Latin letters, numbers, and certain symbols: periods, hyphens, and underscores. When coming up with a login, you will most likely have to be creative: many names are already registered, and the service will not allow you to register a duplicate name.

3. After successfully choosing a name, Google Play will prompt you to create a password that will be used to log into all Google services.

The minimum password length is 8 characters. These can be Latin letters and numbers, as well as hyphens, periods, underscores, brackets, and some other special characters.

After entering the password, Google will automatically assess its strength based on several criteria:

• use of special characters;
• use of numbers;
• combining letters in UPPER and lower case.

To avoid errors when entering, and therefore in remembering the password, it will need to be entered twice, after which you should press "Done."

4. For secure management of your Google account (such as password recovery or change), it is linked to a mobile phone number. If you are not ready to provide this information, you can do it later, and for now, select "Skip" for this step.

Or provide a valid mobile phone number to which an SMS with a verification code will be sent within a couple of minutes. If the SIM card is in the same device from which the account registration is taking place, the process will continue automatically; if the devices are different, the code will need to be entered manually.

Agree to the terms of the license agreement, and, if necessary, check the boxes for Google's newsletter and account data backup.

5. If you plan to download not only free apps from Google Play, you need to choose how you will pay for purchases: by bank card or from your PayPal account.

When selecting the option "Add a credit or debit card," you will need to provide its full details: number, expiration date, CVV code (three digits on the back of the card next to the cardholder's signature). The system will also request a mailing address.

To make purchases using PayPal, you need to enter the login and password for this service.
