HID has unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of RFID tags - New SlimFlex UHF Tags.

The design of this new UHF RFID tag allows for new placement options for UHF RFID tags. The SlimFlex RFID tag complies with EPC Class1 Gen2, ISO 18000-6C, and provides the ability to operate at frequencies of 860-960 MHz.

The tag housing is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) housing, allowing it to be securely attached to rounded or uneven surfaces. The tag can be bent without sacrificing performance. SlimFlex tags can conform to surface contours and can be securely attached with industrial adhesives or mounted with bolts, screws, or self-tapping screws through pre-drilled holes.

Furthermore, SlimFlex tags allow data to be read and written from a distance of up to 6 meters when mounted on any wood or plastic surface. SlimFlex UHF tags provide fast data transfer rates, password protection, reliable reading, and 512-bit rewritable user memory.
