Avery Dennison Corporation presented its new development RFID–tag AD-110m5. The new product has its advantages: an exceptionally small size, as well as resistance to liquids, plastic and other RF-unfriendly materials, which makes the tag ideal for insertion into a product during its production process.

The small area of ​​the AD-110m5 is only one third of conventional tags, but it works just like its predecessors. RFIDThe tag has an Impinj Monza 5 microchip, which allows for high levels of reliability, reading and writing in a minimal area. The antenna dimensions are 23 x 5 mm, the operating frequency is 860-960 MHz.

Samples of the AD-110m5 are available now. Mass production will begin in the first quarter of 2012.
