The total retail turnover in Ukraine for the whole of 2010 reached UAH 529.883 billion, which is 7.6% higher than the result of 2009.
This is evidenced by data from the State Statistics Committee.
It was previously reported that according to the results of January - December 2010, the volume of retail turnover of Ukrainian enterprises (legal entities) operating in the retail and restaurant industry reached UAH 274.6 billion (or 51.8% of the total turnover - editorial). In comparable prices, this is 7.8% higher than the same figure for 2009.
The turnover of the restaurant industry in 2010 amounted to UAH 17.637 billion. (or +3.5%).
In particular, retail sales of trading enterprises in Ukraine for December 2010 increased by 14.7% compared to December 2009 and by 11.6% compared to November 2010.
