Tvheadend is a server designed for streaming TV. With a simple interface, it greatly simplifies the process of searching and scheduling the recordings you need. It supports DVB-S, S2, C, and T satellite television broadcasting standards, as well as V4L analog video.
Once installed, you can watch your favorite channels, record programs, use the recording scheduler, and watch encrypted channels even without the appropriate card. The server works with K1+ Android Box receivers with a DVB-S2 tuner in the K1; a combined DVB T2/S2 option is also possible.
To stream to a media center, Tvheadend can be located on the same computer as the media center or on any other computer on the network.
