McDonald's plans to start accepting VISA, MasterCard and American Express bank cards in all Russian restaurants by the end of 2010, McDonald's vice president in Russia and Eastern Europe and chief financial officer Alexey Semenov told reporters.
According to A. Semenov, today McDonald's began accepting bank cards in its restaurant on Polezhaevskaya in Moscow. Also in August, four more restaurants in Moscow and one - in St. Petersburg, and by the end of 2010 the project will be implemented in all of the company's restaurants in Russia.
Currently, there are 351 McDonald's restaurants operating in Russia. Another 33 restaurants are planned to open by the end of the year.
