RFID technology can now warn of potential danger. If an item is manufactured incorrectly, it can be dangerous, such as car tires, children's toys, and canned fish, which have been recalled by manufacturers in recent years.
Today, with RFID, it's becoming easier to recall dangerous goods from store shelves and homes. When a manufacturer returns goods, the supplier is notified, and the supplier, in turn, notifies the retailer.
Consumers, however, have to learn about returns from the owners of the dangerous items, from newspapers, television, or the Internet. The solution to this problem would be to send the customer an email informing them that they should replace the child's toy or dispose of the damaged item.
This service is possible using RFID tags and electronic product codes (EPCs) on products. Unique EPC identification numbers can be linked to the owner's information in a database. If a computer battery is about to overheat, or there is a risk of brake failure, you must be notified immediately and urgently.
RFID technology will force companies to be more responsible in the production of their products, as it allows problems to be traced back to their origins. If parts of a mobile phone fail and cause possible electric shocks, the store identifies the manufacturer of these parts and prevents the problem.
