The Verkhovna Rada adopted in full draft law No. 1088, regulating issues of usecash registerswith small and medium-sized businesses.The bill was developed with the participation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the document, all simplified tax system entrepreneurs of the first, second, and third groups with an annual income of less than 1 million UAH, regardless of the type of activity, are not required to install cash registers.It is assumed that for this category of business, cash registers will become mandatory from January 1, 2016 – meaning that entrepreneurs will still have time to prepare for the purchase and installation of transaction recorders.POS terminal).

The Ministry of Finance also insists on developing a mechanism to check entrepreneurs for exceeding a turnover of 1 million UAH. This proposal was taken into account by the parliamentarians.

In addition, bill No. 1088 provides for the cancellation of fines for the incorrect use of cash registers.

Recall that the law, which was supposed to regulate the operation of cash registers, came into effect on July 1, but sparked protests among business representatives.

Initially, entrepreneurs in tax group 1, as well as all those who trade in markets or are involved in mobile trade, were exempted. Entrepreneurs in groups 2 and 3, who do not fall under these parameters, were given time to prepare — until January 1, 2016, and July 1, 2015, respectively.
