Dutch company Prazza Group has developed the Prazza Golf Ball Finder system, designed to solve one of the most annoying and time-consuming problems in golf: losing the ball.

Dutch firm Prazza Group has developed the Prazza Golf Ball Finder system, designed to solve one of the most annoying and time-consuming problems in golf: losing a ball.

Special golf balls come with an embedded RFID chip. The tag is activated when the player hits the ball. Portable RFID tag readers can locate the ball at a distance of up to 110 meters, including in water at a depth of up to twenty centimeters.

The reader is the same size as any modern smartphone, uses active RFID technology, and beeps when the player approaches the ball. An arrow is also displayed on the screen, pointing the golfer in the right direction.
