Portable thermal receipt

The clamshell design with 2” print head RPP200 is classed as semi-rugged due to their double injection moulded case and can be supplied in either grey or high visibility orange. It offer a high standard of reliability and can withstand a drop of 1.5M onto a hard floor, further protection is offered by rubber side grips or bumpers which also aids secure handling of the printers. To further enhance the printers semi-rugged tag is their wide operating temperature of -10°C ~ 50°C making the printers ideal for a host of outdoor printing applications.

RPP200 is compact and lightweight, measures just 112x79x45mm, taking a paper roll of 58mm wide with a 40mm outer diameter and weighs just 260g. The printers are capable of high resolution (203 dpi) fast printing (80mm/sec) and produce high quality text, graphics and barcode printouts. For communication flexibility, the RPP200 come equipped with a hard-wired USB interface plus a wireless option of either Bluetooth or Wifi or if required both Bluetooth and Wifi. ESC/POS print commands are supported and 3 different sized font options are available, 12×24, 9×24 and 24×24 giving the 2” model either 16, 32 or 42 characters per line and the 3” model 24, 48 or 64 characters per line.

A rechargeable li-ion battery pack provides continuous printing for up to 5½ hours or 195metres and can be fully re-charged again either via a USB port or the mains charger in 3~4 hrs, spare battery packs plus a desktop charger can also be supplied for heavy usage applications. The printer is supplied with a leather belt clip to allow the user to attach the printer to their belt plus there is also an optional belt pouch providing a little more protection for the printer against the elements. Windows and Linux drivers are available as are SKD codes for both Android and iOS operating systems.

The printers double moulded clamshell case offers a semi-rugged construction making it ideal for applications requiring the equipment to be able to take some bumps and scrapes. It can be supplied in either a bright orange or dark grey case colour with the option of a leather belt pouch for attaching to the user. As well as the case colour the RPP-200 has three standard interfacing options, versions, RPP-200BU = Bluetooth + USB, RPP-200WU = WiFi + USB and RPP-200BWU = Bluetooth + WiFi + USB, the USB interface an also be replaced by a serial RS232 if necessary.

The printer has a print width of 48mm and a resolution of 8 dots/mm or 203 dpi, it can print at speeds of up to 80mm/sec making it ideal for receipt or ticket printing. The high resolution thermal head easily supports text, graphics including logo’s, barcode and QR code printing everything you could possible need in a mobile printing application. The integral 1600mAh  li-ion battery pack on a full charge will allow the printer to print continuously for 4~5 hrs or 150m and can be fully charged in 3~4 hrs.
